Honeywell is looking for qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Advanced Engineer Automation at their Hyderabad, Telangana, India office.

Position Overview: Honeywell is currently hiring for the role of Advanced Engineer Automation. The position is based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Below are the detailed responsibilities and requirements for the job.

Key Responsibilities:

Understand requirements, develop test strategies, and assess infrastructure needs.
Create and review comprehensive test plans to ensure sufficient coverage and high quality.
Test industrial automation products such as field devices and PLCs.
Work with protocols including Modbus, EIP, Profinet, and others.
Design and implement test automation infrastructure using tools like Selenium, TestComplete, or equivalents.

Develop test scripts that align with the team’s definition of done.
Perform automated regressions, analyze failures, and adjust scripts as necessary.
Troubleshoot and maintain existing test fixtures, which involves both hardware and software debugging.
Participate in Firmware Verification, System/Product Verification, or Solution Verification as required.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Computer, or Electronics Engineering, or Computer Science.
8 to 10 years of experience in embedded product testing and validation.
2-3 years of experience in test automation and scripting.
Familiarity with software management tools (SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, etc.).
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to adapt and address issues in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Embedded Systems (either testing or development).
Experience using Matlab or NI Automation.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Rally).
