Purpose of the Role

We are looking for a skilled Finance and IT Manager with expertise in both finance and IT systems, specifically Oracle ERP, to join our dynamic team in the manufacturing sector. Key Responsibilities

As a Finance and IT Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

1. Collaboration Between Finance and IT Teams

You will work closely with both the finance and IT teams to ensure the Oracle ERP system aligns with the operational and financial needs of the manufacturing business. Your primary goal will be to facilitate smooth communication and integration between these two departments.

2. Automation of Financial Systems

You will lead the development and automation of financial systems using Oracle ERP. This includes streamlining areas such as inventory management, procurement, order processing, and cost control within the manufacturing sector, ensuring systems operate efficiently.

3. System Integration

Oversee the integration of Oracle Financials modules with other systems in the manufacturing setup. Your goal will be to ensure a seamless flow of data between departments, enabling accurate and real-time reporting.

4. Enhancement of Financial Reporting

Design, implement, and maintain automation tools to improve the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting and accounting processes. This includes automating repetitive tasks to enhance overall productivity.

5. Training and Support

Conduct regular training sessions for finance and operations teams to ensure they are proficient in using Oracle ERP tools and automated workflows. This will help your team become well-equipped to handle the system effectively.

6. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution

You will be responsible for resolving system-related issues, collaborating with IT support teams to ensure minimal disruptions to financial operations, ensuring business continuity.

7. Continuous System Improvement

Provide ongoing support for Oracle system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements, ensuring they meet the manufacturing business's specific needs. You will address challenges as they arise to ensure smooth operations.

8. Performance Monitoring

Monitor and improve the performance of financial and operational systems to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and compliance standards.

9. Documentation

Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for processes, system configurations, and user guides, ensuring all teams have clear reference materials for using Oracle systems.


Required Skills and Expertise

1. Chartered Accountant (CA) Qualification

A Chartered Accountant (CA) with substantial experience in both finance and Oracle ERP systems is essential for this role.

2. Oracle Financials Expertise

Proficiency in Oracle Financials (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger) and experience with Oracle Cloud or Oracle E-Business Suite is crucial.

3. Manufacturing Industry Experience

A strong understanding of financial operations specific to the manufacturing industry, including inventory management, cost allocation, and production accounting, is a must.

4. ERP Implementation and Optimization

Experience in implementing, upgrading, and optimizing Oracle ERP systems within manufacturing environments will be a significant asset.

5. Automation Knowledge
